For the last few decades we have talked about little else other than why you have to stay away from sunlight. A new study has been performed and it demonstrates that people who allow some time in direct sunlight aren’t as likely to get MS as the people who do everything they can to keep out of the sun. Originally the analysis was to see how Vitamin D affected the indicators of Multiple Sclerosis. It didn’t take long for them to realize that it is the Vitamin D our bodies produce after exposure to sunshine that is at the center of the issue.

It’s been recognized for a very long time that Vitamin D and the sun’s rays can impact the way the immune system works and how it can contribute to Multiple Sclerosis. This study, however, focuses on the affects of sunshine on those who are experiencing the very earliest symptoms of the disease. Unfortunately there are not a lot of ways to really quantify the hypothesis of the study. Sadly, scientists have recognized that the only method to prove this definitively is to monitor a person for his entire life. This is only way that it may be possible to assess and fully grasp the levels of Vitamin D that exist in a person’s blood before the precursors of the disease show up. The way it appears now, and has stood (widely recognized) for years is that people who live in warm and sunny climates and who get more exposure to direct natural light are less likely to develop MS than those who live in dark or cold climates and get very little exposure to the sun.

The fact that the danger of developing skin cancer increases proportionally to the amount of time you spend in direct sunlight (without protection) is also a problem. So, in an attempt to keep a single disease from setting in, you’ll probably be inadvertently causing another. Of course, skin cancer-if caught early on-has a better chance of being curable. MS still isn’t curable.

So should you receive more sun to prevent MS from setting in? Ask a family doctor whether or not this is an excellent idea. Your physician will determine if you are in danger for the disease (and how much) by checking out your genetics, medical history and current health. Contrary to what is generally known, Graves Disease can be eliminated allowing you to regain back your health. However, the way to do this involves going beyond conventional methods and using your own body to fix itself.

Graves’ disease is effected by certain conditions, in the body’s immune system, which is designed to protect us from foreign invasions which are usually in the form of bacteria or viruses. It is medically accepted that Graves Disease is a result of a bad immune system. Otherwise, we would be able to cure it for good. There are numerous incurable diseases that is known to man yet, with all our technology, we still cannot find a permanent cure.

Our body’s are a very advanced machine that goes way beyond our current technology. How would you like to be able to tone your legs and trim your butt without ever setting foot in the gym? It sounds too good to be true – but there are now a whole range of shoes from a variety of different manufacturers which claim to be able to help you do exactly that. They come in a range of colors and styles – some of them look nothing like exercise shoes at all and are very fashionable.

The general approach seems to be to replicate the mechanics of walking barefoot on soft ground – like sand or lush grass for example. Most of these new high tech fitness shoes achieve this by the use of specially designed soles. Use of the correct density of materials in the construction of the shoes also seems to be an important factor.

These are probably the forerunner of the current range of shoes on the market. Strictly speaking, they aren’t fitness shoes at all. They were invented by Karl Muller, a Swiss engineer. Whilst walking barefoot across a Korean rice field, he realised that his back pain, a long term problem for him, was very much better than usual.

Once again, a number of independent tests appear to support the assertion that the lower body muscles do extra work whilst walking in this type of shoe. There are also any number of rave reviews from actual users, both on the company website and in other locations.

When you think about it, it’s not too hard to imagine how shoes that are able to produce the mechanical characteristics of walking on a soft yielding surface like sand could encourage your muscles to carry out some extra work. It’s probably also reasonable to assume that, if you’re trying to regain your balance on a constant basis, then that might make your muscles work a little bit harder. It’s certainly a very nice idea – getting a free lower body workout just by walking about as you would be doing anyway. It may well be worth a try. There are so many of these wonder shoes on the market right now – and they cost no more than ordinary fitness shoes – that you could probably get a pair that you liked the next time you need new shoes anyway.

Have you noticed that most people will never fail to include abdominal muscle exercises in their routines and yet somehow or other, they can never own that coveted 6 pack abs?

Have you been religiously doing your abdominal muscle exercises? Is your abs showing to your satisfaction? No? Why? Do you know that your abdominal muscle is one of the easiest muscles to build but yet why is it that most people have difficulty in developing that 6 pack abs?

Here is the truth. Those of you who are working out your abs regularly do probably own that much sought after six pack. Yes, you do. The only trouble is that your belly fat is covering them. Your abs will not show up well if you have a body fat ratio of more than 12%. The more fat you burn off, the more defined your abs will be. You will own that rippling washboard abs when your body fat is 10% or less. So if you have fat on your belly, forget about abdominal exercises and burn off the fats first.

There is another reason why people put in so much effort to develop their abdominal muscle and yet their abs are not showing although they have low body fat. Again, there is a simple explanation. They are doing the wrong exercises and working out in bad form.

Let’s take for example the most common abs exercises, the sit up and the leg raisers. Everybody seem to be doing these two exercises not knowing that these exercises really don’t do much for their abs. Don’t believe me? Ok…try this. When you do your sit up or leg raisers, place your palms on your hip on the area connecting to your thigh and perform the exercises. Tell me what did you feel? Ahhh….you are getting it. Those muscles there are doing most of the work. Those are your hip flexor muscles. Since your hip flexors are doing most of the work, how can you develop your abs effectively?

So you say, from now on I will do crunches instead. Well, I have another surprise for you. Most people perform their crunches wrongly too. Think about it. Why is the exercise called the “crunch”? It is because you must squeeze your abs so are that you are crunching them. In order to squeeze your abs hard, you have to curl up like a prawn and breath out all the air in your lungs at the top position and then squeeeeeeeze the muscles so hard that you feel a burn.

That will take a few seconds to crunch out all the air before you lower to the beginning position again. You can’t do this effectively if you just go up, down, up down, up down rhythmetically. So, if you have been doing hundreds of crunches everyday with minimal result, now you know why. In fact, it is almost impossible for the average guy to do tens of properly performed crunches and not to say hundreds of them. The same squeezing principle applies to other abs exercises.

Ok….now that you know why your abs are not showing up well, so get on with burning your fats and perform your workout in correct form. You will then see your 6 pack abdominal muscle in no time.
